Can't Get Enough Of You

Til now, this is the fourth Venice that I had visited.

The first one was in Macau, The Venetian Hotel.
They have fake blue sky, Italian gondoliers that could sing pretty well and street performers.

It really made me curious,
how does the real Venice looked like?

My question was answered when I went there for exchange.
The one I saw in Macau is definitely no match to the real thing.

It is so much more than the imitation in Macau.
Since then, I've always wanted to go there again.

Last year, I had a chance to visit Las Vegas.

I popped by at The Venetian Hotel. Yeap, there's another one in Vegas.

It is similar with the one in Macau, but a little more nicer.

Somehow I am not really impressed, unlike my first time seeing it in Macau.

I think I know why.

March 2011, I went back to Venice again.
This time it's with my family. We took a boat from Mestre to Venice.

The feeling is exactly the same from what I had 3 years ago.

Nostalgic.

p/s: It is mission impossible for me to upload more photos. Maxis Snailband is only giving me 0.05mbps. Gonna upload more when I have decent speed.
p/p/s: I accidentally deleted one of my albums in Picasa and all my blog photos went missing! Gonna re-upload them, if the speed is not killing me.

**UPDATED**
Do not be deceived by that sweet smile, she's evil!

The signature clock tower in Venice. The sky was so gloomy when we arrived.

The first thing we did was filling our tummy.

The bill. 50 euros for my mom & me. That's like RM200++!

Of course, we ordered like Queens! Too much apparently.

A friendly reminder. Don't do jump shots in Europe, people stares. But I don't care!

The carvings are simply marvelous. The sky turned clear blue after some rain. Thank you.

Basilica of St Mark in the Piazza San Marco. The building is an icon for 11th century architecture.

Murano glass. A beautiful product of the Venetian Island of Murano. It's shiny and colourful,
it caught my eye.

Palazzo Ducale or Dodge's Palace.

The photographer behind me ruined this picture!

Sitting in the corridor reminds me to slow down for a while to enjoy the perfect moment.

The gondolas. These darlings don't come cheap though.

Anybody needs to attend a masquerade ball? I bought one of these!

You will see this all over Venice.

I will return here someday, for the third time.

Venice, is a piece of art.
